24 HOURS IN A HUGE BLANKET FORT! | We Are The Davises

– [Shawn] Target practice. – [Connie] Oh my goodness, I’m hiding. No! Aah! Help me, aah! (Shawn laughs) (fun dance music) – [Kayla] Oh wow, this is big. – [Tyler] It’s moving. – [Connie] (imitates dog barking) oh my gosh, stay down. – I think I know what it is. – What is it? – It’s a unicorn. (pop-punk music) – Hey everyone, it’s We Are the Davises. – What’s up everybody – Hi.
– Hello. – Today, we are doing, – 24 hours in a blanket fort – [All] Yay! – This thing is huge,
like 10 feet by 20 feet. – It’s really big. – It’s really big. – [Connie] Here’s the fort. K so these up here are actually
walls that will come down for the night time so we
could have our own rooms. So we have the walls up here, they’re kind of pinned up right now. Gorgeous blankets. – This is like the family room area, like the area that you’re in. – [Connie] And then back
here, we have another room. – [Shawn] We got some Spider Man, we got some Angry Birds. – [Tyler] We got some Rocket Raccoon. – [Shawn] Who’s that? That’s Rocket?
– [Tyler] Yeah. – [Connie] So this kinda looks
like the boy’s room to me. – [Shawn] Cowboys baby. – [Connie] So who wants
to show their goodies? – [Kayla] Me.
– [Tyler] Me. – [Shawn] Kayla goes first. – [Kayla] I said it first.
– [Tyler] Nope, me. – Yep, Kayla went first. – [Tyler] I’m a boy.
– [Kayla] Okay. – [Connie] Kayla said “me” first. – [Tyler] But I’m a boy. – [Connie] Whatchu got girl? – So, because I love sleeping and we have a lot of
blankets and pillows in here I didn’t bring a lot so I’m gonna be sleeping most of the time, but I brought a hairbrush for when I wake up. I got some hot Cheetos. – [Tyler] You better share those. – Ummmmmm. – [Connie] She’s gonna be sorry later. – I brought my phone, in case I get bored. And then I brought this awesome book that I just got called The Land of Stories and I’m super excited to read it because it seems super cool so far. It’s about these two kids,
their grandma gives them this story book and then they fall in it and now they have to figure a way out. – [Shawn] So who’s next? Tyler? – Yep, yep. – [Shawn] Okay. – I got this gun. – [Shawn] The Mega Twin Shock – [Tyler] Yeah. – [Connie] That looks scary. – I got this big panda
that’s basically my bed. – [Connie] Nice. – His name is Pandy, is like a – [Shawn] He looks really comfy. – [Kayla] He’s like five years old – He’s like a million years old, yeah. And this is my last item , another gun. – [Connie] Another gun? – Yes. – [Connie] So that’s it, you
got two guns and a Pandy. – Yes. – [Shawn] Two guns and a Pandy. – [Connie] Well, I don’t know what else you could possibly need. I brought my phone, ’cause we always do. I’ve got this bag of
goodies that I brought. For Hershey and Harley. – [Shawn] Oh, some treats for the doggies? – You get some treats,
ooo whatchu think of that? And of course I got my
favorite granola mix. – [Kayla] So we’ll trade. – And then I got something I think – [Kayla] Oh god, we are trading – Daddy really likes. Milano milk chocolate cookies. I got something that Tyler really likes, – [Kayla] Oh my gosh. – Sweedish Fish. – [Kayla] And the wall just
came down, I can’t see what the next item is. – [Shawn] Kayla go in your room. – [Connie] Oh no, the
walls are coming down. – [Shawn] Go in your room. – I’ve got a bunch of chips. Kit Kats – [Shawn] (gasps) KitKats! – I got little donuts, yummy. This is like a spend the night party so we’re having lots of treats. – [Shawn] Lots of treats, baby. – [Tyler] So many treats. – Sour Patch watermelon. – [Kayla] Watermelon, these are mine. – [Tyler] Trade? – I got Sprite. – Oh my god, Mom brought
the entire cupboard. – And breakfast. – [Tyler] Pop Tarts. – Pop Tarts. – Oh my gosh, I wasn’t expecting all that. – This is gonna be fun,
it’s gonna be a party. – [Tyler] I love Pop Tarts. – I only brought hot Cheetos. – Spend the night in a blanket fort, yeah. Do we need anything else? I don’t think so. Actually, I did bring something else but I’m just gonna wait
til later to show you. – What? I wanna know now. – Now it’s Dad’s turn. Yeah, by the way, did you
guys see our cool window? (angelic singing) – [Kayla] We got all
our Mother’s Day items. – [Connie] Yeah, all kinds
of girly stuff to play with. So we have all these little girly things alright, so what did Shawn bring? – OK, I didn’t bring as
much food as Connie did. Two dark chocolate caramel
thingies, they’re so good. Is it car-A-mel, or CARmel? – It’s either way. – [Kayla] It’s CARmel – It’s either way. – Let’s ask Google Translate. – [Shawn] Google Translate? – Dad, look at Kayla’s hair. (everyone laughing) – [Connie] She’s got static. She’s got static, her hair’s sticking up. – [Google Translate] Caramel – [All] Car-A-mel! – So I got caramels here,
which are really really yummy and I think I’m gonna be
using these probably to trade for a trade for maybe
some donuts or a Pop Tart – [Kayla] I’ve never had one of those. – We’ll see how long it goes. – I was the only one
that didn’t bring food. – [Kayla] You’re gonna starve. – Oh man. – [Connie] Poor Tyler. Well, we’ve got bottled water too. – I got Sweedish Fish. – [Connie] I just didn’t show you guys. – [Kayla] Oh yeah, it’s right there. – Tyler is, – [Connie] Well, there’s
bottled water somewhere in here. Ah, there it is, bottled waters, see? We’re healthy. – [Kayla] Really? – Tyler’s survival for
this 24 hour challenge is gonna be based on
the good will of others because he brought no food. And the other thing is, I
don’t know if how many of you noticed, I’m actually growing hair now and so I gotta make sure I look good. I brought my brush. I had no idea someone
else was bringing a brush. – [Connie] Will you share it with me? – Oh absolutely. – [Connie] Okay thank you. – Absolutely. – ’cause you got food. And then last but not least,
this is kind of a two parter, I brought this really cool
like little tub thing. – [Connie] Nice. And then I brought pit balls woo! – [Connie] Nice we get
to play in a ball pit. – Or the doggies do one or the other, ’cause we might be too
big to jump in there. – [Connie] Ball pit, ball pit. Oh my goodness, I don’t know. No matter what you can’t play in this and the kid’s going like
“please let me play.” – So look at the doggies,
they’re just chilling in there – [Connie] Aw you guys like it. Do you guys wanna – [Kayla] You wanna – [Tyler] Oh my gosh. – I’m gonna go swimming
in our little pit, ready? – [Shawn] Don’t dive head first, Kayla, what are you thinking? – [Tyler] It says no diving. – [Shawn] Didn’t you read the warnings? – [Tyler] I wanna go swimming, cannonball! – [Shawn] Cannonball. (laughing) – [Shawn] Target practice. – [Connie] Oh my
goodness, I’m hiding, noo! Aah, help me, aah! – [Tyler] This now. – [Connie] He’s hitting you guys. – Oh I hit the fans again. – [Connie] He’s hitting you
guys, help help, help, aah! – Hitting them again. – [Tyler] Dad, if you keep
hitting them, I’ll shoot. – [Shawn] Tyler’s got your back, guys. – Let go! (gun shoots) drop your weapon! – [Connie] Oop, that was it. Oh no! (rapid fire shooting) – [Connie] Oh my goodness. – Alright, everybody shoot the fans again. (Connie screams) – I’m just kidding, I’m not gonna do that. – [Connie] I can’t do it. – All Tyler and I were
doing was just giving you an example of what would
happen if you tried to break into our blanket fort. – [Connie] Alright, so now
the mom in me is kicking in. Clean this mess up. – [Tyler] Ugh, Mom. – So it’s been a few hours,
I’ve just been reading my book. It’s really good. – [Connie] What’s going on over here? Tyler’s napping? – Yep, so I was gonna play Fortnite but I haven’t updated on my
mobile Fortnite for a while so now I gotta sit here and
wait for it to download. – It’s been a couple more hours and I can’t wait any longer,
I gotta eat some snacks. I think these cookies look really good. – Can I have one? – Tyler’s still asleep,
he’s gonna miss out. – Go to sleep, go to sleep. – [Connie] Oh someone woke up. He heard the word treat. – Hey Tyler, wanna treat? Wanna treat Tyler? – [Kayla] Tyler, or Dad – Yum, Kayla, you want one? – [Kayla] Yes. – [Connie] Very good, we haven’t
had those in a long time. Yum yum. Okay time to give
Hershey and Harley treats ’cause they’re like what about us? Harley you want a treat? High five. Come on, yeah, good job. – [Kayla] Yeah good job. – Okay Hershey, stand, come on, yay. Aww, okay, I’ve got hidden surprises. (harp music) – [Shawn] Oh man. – [Tyler] It’s a box. – It’s a box. Pick a number between one and fifty. – Oh, 23. – 25. – Oh my gosh, I picked 27. Okay, I’m not gonna open it. – Yay, okay it feels light. – [Tyler] It’s like it’s nothing. – Okay let’s see, da da da. Oh it’s foam! I wanna crush it, can I crush it? – [Kayla] Oh, that’s nice. Yes. I love that so much. – [Connie] On Instagram,
popular satisfaction thing – Mmhmm, I love this stuff. – [Tyler] Dad’s playing
Fortnite over here. – [Connie] Okay so Kayla
can’t have all the fun. Got another box. – [Kayla] Oh Tyler gets the unicorn box. – I get slime. – [Kayla] What? I want slime. – No slime for you, you
didn’t share with me. – [Shawn] Look at that foam now. – [Connie] The foam is gone. – [Kayla] Whoa. – [Shawn] Oh my gosh look at that. That is way too cool dude. (sneezes) Ew, oh gross, oh my god,
I’m playing with it. I can’t believe it. – [Tyler] No, Dad, Dad. Achoo, just kidding. – [Connie] So that’s kind of cool looking, it’s got white and pink and yellow. – [Shawn] That was a – [Kayla] You’re supposed to
tuck the last bit underneath. Give me this. – No, no, you didn’t
let me touch your foam. I think we’re going to take a break and have some snack time. – [Tyler] Yeah, snack time. – I’ve already started. – So we’ll see you guys
in just a little bit. (fun dance music) Alright, so you guys
can see our disco party night scene here, woo. – [Shawn] Ow! – You guys wanna play a game? – Sure. – Before we start the game
just wanna let you guys know the dogs are able to go in and
out of the house right now. They have access to outside, so we get those questions sometimes and we are each allowed one potty run. Yeah, so if you’re hurting you can go. I got this really cute candle from Kayla. – It smells good. – It smells so good. So I thought I would light it. – Just for safety reasons,
only burn a candle in a blanket fort if a parent is present. Just sayin. – There’s four of us here,
I think we got an eye on it. – I think we’re good to go. So we each get five shots to make it into that bag over there. The person that makes
the most is the winner. So here we go, number one. – [Kayla] Failure. – Failure. – [Connie] He can’t do it. – [Kayla] Failure.
– [Tyler] Failure. – Yes, nuttin but net baby, nothin but net. One, two, three, yeah baby. I got three. (all scream) – Oh my god. – You can still tie it,
you can still tie it. – [All] One, two, three. – It’s tied, let’s see if I can do it. – One. – Oh, two. – You only got two. – Tyler’s in third. – [All] One. – Mom’s closer. – [All] Two, three, four – Oh I need one more. Kayla you are cheating, knock it out. I don’t count for this contest,
I just know that I’m good. Right? – So it’s between me and Dad? – Yes. We’re gonna let Kayla compete against Dad. – It’s a tie breaker
baby, it’s a tie breaker. – I’m taking myself out of the contest because I don’t wanna get my own gift. – Yeah, since Mommy
did pick out the prizes – OK go. – One. – You got one. – Two. What? That was like at the
backboard right there. Two. What? You gotta put that bag up,
you gotta back that bag up. Ah man, that ain’t fair. – One. – Two, three. – Did it go in? – Four, it went in. – Oh, okay, I got four. Stomp on the haters. – What’s the prize? – [Kayla] Oh wow, that’s big. – Oh that’s a big prize man. – That’s big, it’s moving. (Connie imitates a dog barking) – Oh my gosh, stay down. – I think I know what it is. – What is it? – It’s a unicorn. – Nope. – It isn’t? – It’s a pandy. – It is, – Yeah you have to guess
what it is to get it. – It’s um, um, – It’s an animal of some sort. – It’s a spaceship. – It’s a llama. – I think this is a tail. – It’s not a animal. – It’s a submarine. – It’s not an animal? – Car. – It’s a building. – A plane. – Is it mean? A punching bag. – Is it our own We Are The Davises pillow? – It’s not We Are The Davises merch? – Okay, I’ll give you a
hint, it’s not a person. And it’s not an animal. – Okay, is it something Moana related? – No. – It’s a giant banana. – But you’re on the right track. It’s from a movie. – It’s Buzz Lightyear. – From a movie. – It’s Buzz Lightyear. – Okay here you go. – Uh oh. – A burrito? – It’s Groot! – Groot! – Teenage Groot, he’s a cute – That’s a teenager? – Yeah, it’s Groot. – It’s a baby Groot. – I could have guessed it
if Mom said it was Disney. – Oh man, I blew it. – Can I have it? – Here it is, you want it? Dad’s the one that likes
Guardians of the Galaxy so I’ll give it to him. But Mom also likes baby
Groot, Mom likes baby Groot. – I liked him when I saw him in the store. I said oh, baby, he’s a baby. – Mom is obsessed with baby Groot. – And when I was walking out with him, people were going, oh Groot, Groot. – Everyone loves baby Groot. – It was funny, but yeah. – Thank you Mommy. – Yay. – Good job. – We’ll get you something,
Ty, don’t worry. – Yay. – So is it time to go to bed now? – Okay, it’s really late, guys, we are starting to wind
down and the next step is put all the walls down, so everybody kinda has like their privacy. So we gotta take down all the walls. Alright, night night Kayla. Night night, Harley. This is my room. Night night Hershey. Night night Shawn. – Night night. – [Connie] Night night, Ty. – Night. – [Connie] Love you guys. – [Shawn] Good night,

Hi, the puppies. – Can you hear it? – [Connie] It’s really hard to sleep with Dad snoring all the time. – Can you hear the lawn mower? – [Connie] I know! Will you be ready for
breakfast in a minute? – Yep. – [Connie] Let’s wake him up because that’s kind of annoying. Hello. – Hey, is it morning time already? – [Connie] It is, it’s a
little dark back here still just because we don’t have windows but it is actually morning. – It was pretty cozy back in here I think. Can I like one or two more hours. – [Connie] Uh, as long as you’re quiet. – Okay (snores) – [Connie] No, I said quiet. – Oh, sorry. – [Connie] Ty Ty, he’s buried,

new one looks like. – [Connie] Yum. – Just so you know the difference. I’ve got two more surprises. – [Shawn] More surprises? – Pick a number between 50 and 100 and whoever gets closest,
is going to pick which box, and the other person gets the other box. – [Kayla] 75 – [Tyler] 74 – It was 75. (cheering) That’s so weird. – [Kayla] Madmatter, teal Madmatter, thank you, I like it. – [Connie] Let’s see what you got. – [Tyler] Three, two, one, ba da bum. Oh! They’re like little magnet balls and they’re super cool. – I love Madmatter, it’s so awesome. It’s Kinex sand but more
fine and more dense. – [Connie] It’s not wet is it? – [Kayla] It’s not wet. – [Connie] It seems more
like the stuff that you use to make the snow in slime. – Yeah, kinda. – [Connie] And the kinetic
sand seems more like sand – Sand – [Connie] That sticks together. – [Kayla] Yeah, I like
it, and it feels fluffy. – [Connie] Okay let’s see Tyler’s. – [Tyler] So we got this little speck and I’m gonna unravel it. Like this, cool. – [Connie] Oh, it looks like a chain. – [Kayla] Yeah, it looks like a chain. – [Tyler] There you go. – [Kayla] Wait, can I touch it? – [Tyler] Yeah. – [Connie] They’re teeny little magnets. – [Tyler] Let me add to it. – [Kayla] It feels like a chain. – [Connie] (laughing) oh that’s cool. – [Kayla] They’re really strong. Aw you got little baby circles. – [Tyler] So then, I can do this, then I could do this, that. – [Connie] This thing has
infinite possibilities. It’s like standing up on that plate. – [Kayla] Custom fit your own bracelets. – [Connie] Wow, gimme that. – [Kayla] Usually bracelets
don’t fit me, hey! – [Connie] Look at that,
it just snapped right back. Tyler’s building all
kinds of stuff over here. – [Kayla] I made a choker and a ring and my bracelet just broke. – [Connie] Tyler’s
building his thumb ring. – [Tyler] It’s pretty big. – [Connie] Very cool. – [Kayla] My toes are too fat,
I can’t fit this around it. – I’m still waking up, sorry. You know we brought lots
of food and lots of snacks but we didn’t bring any caffeine. – [Connie] Oh my goodness, that’s true. Guys, guess how long it’s been. – [Tyler] How long? – 24 hours? It’s been 24 hours. – [All] Yay! – 24 hours, we survived it, although it wasn’t hard
because we had snacks and we had doggies in this
totally awesome blanket fort that Mommy spent what like at
least three hours building? Four hours? – Yeah, it took a couple hours. – Yeah, it was super cool. – Can you guys believe that
we have all these blankets that’s just crazy. – So many blankets. – Nice, they’re still playing with the – Magnets – The toy that Tyler won. They’re Specks, teeny teeny magnets. So what was your favorite
part about the fort? – I liked the – [Tyler] The food. – the little surprise boxes. – [Tyler] Oh yeah. – That’s my favorite part. – I liked two parts. I like the heavy artillery
that Tyler brought and I liked the snacks that Mommy brought. That was pretty cool. – I liked the sleep. – Sleep. – Sleep is always good. – Yeah, I liked how I had a
lot of time to read my book. – And what did you like about it? – I liked being able to
hang out with you guys. – Yay – And I hope you guys enjoyed this video comment down below what
your favorite part was and until next time. – [All] Bye! (playful music)
