A Look At The STM Trilogy 15″ Laptop Backpack

This is the STM trilogy 15-inch laptop
bag all right coming in from STM is a
backpack this is a 24 litre laptop bag or backpack that holds up to a 15 inch
laptop it’s a rather attractive looking and probably cost around well showing
about $80 idiots trillion dollars but I think I saw it on Amazon for about 50
points so I’m quite interested to see what we get
for 50 quid in a bag this carries 24 liters as I already said and it’s got
two main compartments that allow you to keep your gear sort of separated and
organized at the same time so looking around we have a bit of a handle on the
top there that said nicely padded somewhat thick and well stitched in
there there looks to be a good amount of stitching there so it can take up a
brief amount of weird because this handle would obviously get used quite a
bit every time you pick it up off the ground you’ll probably be used under
that we have some zippers that have little toggles on the end to make them
easy to grab and easy to pull these zipper itself is a kind of a well it’s a
like a dull steel look it looks actually kind of nice it’s a higher quality
zipper and giving it a good yank it doesn’t seem to band at all so it it is
made of fairly durable materials and then this piece of string or a cord is a
has a little rubber and to it that has some finger grips on the logo so there’s
two of those that go around the top and it opens
thusly then further on down the front we have a simple pouch for putting
non-secured items into for grabbing and pulling out just as you need them and
there seems to be a like a pen loop or something like that for you to attach on
a pan or that kind of caper to it inside here Rocco’s right the way down
to pretty much the bottom which is a good deep pocket there so I guess you
could put a water bottle or something in there that might be a good use for it
although it does have these on the side for water balls then we have a another
open I was already open we have like a waterproof pocket here that has a a lip
to go over the zip and in there there’s a decent of mida space that you can fit
a hand perfectly inside and rip it shut simple as that so on the side we have
the netted mesh pocket that as good and deep should hold most sizes of water
bottles if you look carefully you can see that this piece is actually folded
over and in so it’s not showing so much as a seam on the top it’s that’s
actually kind of a nice idea it also helps keep things in it gives you about
better kind of netted area or catch-all and then yeah that would that would
likely take one of those bigger Evian bottles or almost maybe a liter bottle
of water and it goes right down to the bottom but it spreads out at the bottom
as well so you can hold a couple of things in here you could put in your
bottle of water and then maybe an ice pack or something on the side there as I
did once before an ice commander myself for such great thinking and see them on
this side see em size pocket the bottom which something I’ve never really
thought about too much is is just the material obviously that’s gonna be set
directly on the grind and this is a water resistant or repellant sorry not
resistant water repellent fabric and but there there doesn’t feel a large amount
of there of having their there’s there’s maybe a
couple of centimeters of a foam but it does well suppose it’s is fairly durable
i well i can say durable but fairly spongy and if you were to drop your bag
anything that’s on the bottom here would probably not connect that badly i would
have liked to have seen some kind of protective rubber or something like that
for whenever you said this directly on the ground because I wouldn’t like to
set that on wet ground because it feels like it would whilst it repels it might
not it might still absorb some of the water then run the back we have this
sweat resistant mesh and and air lines and things like that so you don’t get
all sweaty on the back it’s a very standard back feel to it and it’s also
on the underside of the straps too it’s a decent enough mesh I am a bit of a
farm of this kind of thing I have one on my loop rule bag and I remember going
away to a trade conference at one stage and it didn’t make any difference I was
going to sweat and I did so at the bottom of that we have these tied up
which I probably wouldn’t untie I would leave them the way they were for
tightening and loosening of the straps and then they attached to material a
triangle of material and the strap itself there’s no double line stitching
there it is a single step no it’s not it’s double stitched okay and the CM on
outside as well seam set off we have the logo here but not here a little bit of
dust here possibly from maybe actually this table comes like that haven’t used
it very much okay so going inside we have
compartments galore which is kind of nice that there are compartments but
there’s not too many there’s only one big zip and then one small zip so you
get inside and you have space for your your laptop on you can hear there’s a
card or some kind of harder substance in there to protect your laptop or an iPad
pro or whatever you happen to throw in there then in front of that we have a
full sized sheath for laptop in here table didn’t there or magazine or
whatever you have in half and that a bit of space here for your lunch and a pair
of shoes maybe or or what have you then we have a netted pocket at this end
which is half the length of the bag doesn’t feel right the way down to the
very front so that’s useful for your chargers and cables headphones that sort
of thing and then down at the bottom there is a separation between the bottom
of the pockets down here and the bottom of the bag so if you put your laptop and
tablet in there and your bag meets with bump your your laptop and tablet are
about an inch above the actual bottom of the bag so they won’t be hitting the
ground directly which is quite nice over this side you can clean this pack you
can see hi there is enough space to be able to slip in well I happen to have a
14 inch Chromebook here which will slide in and it fits in kinda nicely so you
have another inch there as well for if you have a 15 inch and a bit of movement
then obviously the tablet compartment isn’t quite as large doesn’t have to be
that would fit a 10 inch tablet very well or a 12 inch iPad pro quite nicely and it all looks pretty good it’s a it’s
a decent enough looking bag it doesn’t scream out I have thousands of points
worth of tech inside but it doesn’t have a vast amount of space for cameras and
and extra bits and pieces that you might want to throw in there it does have a
decent amount and once you it’s used for a while little stretch out and expand so
you you might be able to squeeze a few extra goodies in there when you’re on
your way so 24 litres is is a fairly decent size the 50 pounds they’re asking for is is
not the worst price in the world it’s a nice enough buying so I’m gonna
have a go with it and use it for a few days
as my main bag and if you have any questions or anything you want me to
look at in particular let me know in the comments box down below hit that
subscribe button gives a wee thumbs up if you fancy and other than that
take care
