So as the previous night blurred with the
morning of the next day. I hoped on a Colectivo and headed towards Ollantaytambo where I would catch a train for Aguas Calientes. and where I would spend the night before trekking up Machu Picchu the next morning. I got to the train station way too early. I was supposed to be here by at least 2:00 because my train leaves at 3:00 I got here around 11 in the morning and been sitting out here ever since. The view anit to bad uh? As soon as I get to Aguas Calientes I’m going to meet up with the boys And hopefully, there isn’t a repeat of last night, because I woke up pretty bad this morning. I don’t know if you can see me right now, but… It’s about 5 in the morning, and we’re making our way up to uh Machu Picchu. Oh my God I’m tired already. This is not… This was not a good idea. At all. We had to leave the trail. It was too much for me and her. It’s… It’s rough. Too out of shape for that stuff. I don’t even know if we’re half way up yet. It’s our new little friend. It’s been following us.. Look at that, we’re finally here little man. As tired as I am, as long as that walk was, this was definitely worth it. The fog kind of hurts it, makes my heart hurt a little bit, but Jesus this is amazing. Machu Picchu was a spectacular experience and I could see why it’s one of the World Wonders. I was a bit out of shape for the trek up, but in the end, the experience made the arrival that more special. Before I left though, I needed to do one more thing. Because you know… If you don’t have a stamp… It didn’t happen.
