Welcome back everyone,
this is Kamal from CNS Grafton and we’ve got Bela helping us out today. One of the first things i wanna go over with bags is the size and the fit and the features of the bag that’s really important. What you want to do is buy a bag that’s the right size for your childs’ spine, from where it starts at the top of the back all the way to the hips. This bag that Bela’s wearing here, nice and green,
has got nice wide straps. It’s got the buckles that go across the chest It’s got the buckles that go across the waist. The only problem with this bag is that we can’t expect it to last and have bella grow into it because its’ too big! How about we take this one off and then, let’s fit Bela with her bag. So when we look at this bag here, it fits! It goes from her shoulders down to her hips. When they put them on, we can’t have it like this. This is exactly where we see a lot of kids coming in their shoulders are being pulled back and naturally their head goes so far forward. we end up getting problems through here. Couple that with ipad time, technology time and this is what they start doing. So Bela, can you pull your straps up for us. From the size of the bag, get your straps up as high as possible You can see that the bags sits nice and close. At the hips and just below the neck. Thanks Bela for your help. Hope that gives you some idea about the right size of the backpack for your child and their spine. For the month of January and February we’re going to be giving free spine and backpack checks for your children. So if you’ve got any questions or queries, Please give us a call.
