  1. @Haley Dasovich

    "Tunisia is no tourist destination"

In 2018 8 million tourists came to Tunisia and their total expenditure was 1.4 Billion dollars. Tunisia has always been amongst the top 5 destinations in the Mediterranean. Tourism also accounts for 8% of Tunisia's GDP.

I hope that helps you get a clearer idea on tourism in Tunisia. In the meantime, everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy your stay. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  2. Thank you on behalf of many other Tunisians for promoting For Tunisia ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ณ โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

  3. Haley Dasovic, you should visit the northwest and the central west the next time: monuments: Dogga, Sbitla,…, beautiful landscapes and forests( Ain Drahem,…), beautiful beaches (Tabarka, Cap Negro,…), villages of Amazighs ("Berbers") in Kesra (Siliana) for example, beautiful waterfalls and mesmerizing landscapes in Djebba- Tibar (Beja) and many other things.

  4. Very well edited and so informative. Tunisia is not as popular as a tourist destination, yeti so beautiful๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

  5. Stay away from The fish they have been dumping chemicals in The sea from Gabes and Tunis. Gabes is in a critical situation.

  11. Love love your video. I'm Tunisian and I've already been to many of the places you visitied. We're happy to have more tourists from all over th world come explore the beauty of our country. Just to correct, Tunisia is the least conservative country in the Middle East and North Africa, so female tourists and Tunisian womean themslves can dress whatever they want and go wherever they please! Like you said it, cat calling is a stupid global phenomena :)). iT''s also beautiful during all seasons of the year with fun things to do all the time. Glad you've enjoyed your experience here !

  12. Such a nice content…but as a tunisian patriote i really recommnd that you visit the desert in the south in wich you can manifeste a lot of unusual good things…moreover, when travelling along the hole country you can get a pretty nice journey in the middle east of it where the beach and traditional issues appears a lot…finally, try also to visit the north west of tunisia …you cannot imagine the fascinating landscapes there!!! Shortly, there is a lot to experience right here ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  13. you visited a lot of known places and they are beautiful , but most of the golden jewels are hidden and only locals know about them, like kelibia and all of nabeul and bizerte the last point of the African continent , but i thank you for taking the time to visit Tunisia you did a really good job with the video also , hope you come back again i'll be more than happy to help you explore more <3

  14. Hi
Thanks again for your videos about Tunisia, most of what you said here is very accurate but :

You can wear what ever you want in Tunisia, the deep south is a bit more conservative, in Tunis you wear what ever you want(considering you are chilling around Sidi Bou/ La Marsa or Hammamet/ Sousse/ Jerba) . Tunisian girls go out wearing skirts and tiny shorts in summer as well.

Muslim country does not mean Saudi Arabia Like country. Tunisia not only serve wine but produce and manufacture wine, there is Very good Rosรฉ โ€œLe Magnifiqueโ€, good Muscat โ€œMuscat de Kelibiaโ€, Jour & Nuit as a dining white wine etc..there is also Boukkha which is a liquor made from Fig and Tunisian Beer Celtia which is quiet nice.
Tunisia has been producing wine for 3000 years one of the first professional wine maker in the world is Magon from Carthage the actual Tunisia. It IS PART OF THE CULTURE.
Islam is not the only aspect of the tunisian culture, Tunisians are also north Africans and Mediterranean people.

  15. loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool the place where u bought the rug got our family name looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool heart react on my comment pls

  16. Thanks for coming to my country and thanks for the video but you maybe not really know Tunisian when you talk about how to wear in tunisia and put gold ring this not okay to say so Tunisian women's have rights much more than European and specially american Tunisian women work in any jobs have same salary as man this not the same in usa when women always have less salary then man's also Tunisian women wear whatever they want and most of them not wearing hijab also if you had few silly guys around tahts not mean all Tunisian guys bother girls cuz this not true before you talked about Tunisian you should know them good thanks

  17. With all my. Respect Tunisia nothing from what you showed is about 10 per cent Tunisia has more awesome places beaches islands doesn't exist in any other place Tunisia is advanced we have cheap things as we have lot of luxury you can find all brands anything you like its very open country and it's democracy and people has freedom you can wear whatever you want no one give shit my girlfriend entered a mosque with short no body told her anything girls in Tunisia wear even more naked than Europe they are very respected you been in wrong places with wrong people the most cultivated people in Africa is in Tunisia the most free women in all arab world in Tunisia women in Tunisia have equal rights as men more even than usa they get same salary same profission as menn that doesn't exist in usa

  18. Notes : In Carthage era, We were known as the purple people, because we were the first to extract the red dive color from coral, abundant in the north shores. The process was even a secret for centuries, fabrics were sold all over the mediterranean see. Romans appreciated the color.
Nowadays, people call us ,"harissa eaters". And in a way it's true. Tunisians use harissa in almost all dishes. It is and always be Tunisian spice #1. Beware of imitations. He He. And the wines are exellent. Visit wineries if you can. There's a lot of litterature about the subject and even in youtube.. I thank you again for promoting my country. Attachement for wine here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jih-Q_mm5aI

  19. Haggling record straits. You can only bargain souvenirs in the souk.
Shops and supermarkets, restaurants and coffe shops are no haggling areas,

  20. Welcome to Tunisia โคโคโค
First I love the way you had the best time here yet when it comes to food you have just touched the surface of the depth of Tunisian food specially kouskous and there's a lot more to discover like the jam theatre hammamet bizert in-drahem and others

    Anyway revisit some โคโค๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ณ

  21. As a Tunisian this the best footage i've ever seen about my country. Thank you a lot but still you needed much more time to enjoy the diversity of cliamtes and lanscapes we have here. We have desert and a very very hot weather during summer, we have snow fall during winter in the north, moutains, rivers, forests and much mcuh sea (around 1300 km of coasts).
Thank you a lot for these awesome footages ๐Ÿ™‚ And you are welcome any time

  22. Hi , please can you just clarify one point !
how did you get the permission to shoot with Drone in Tunisia?
or there is a local company helped you ?

  23. I'm so grateful and thankful for this video. I saw your previous trip earlier this year and wished u stayed longer coz Tunisia seemed to suit u well. And indeed it does suit u and I'm so happy u came back to enjoy more of it. Wish u the very best on ur other journeys.

  24. Hey I live in Tunis ๐ŸฅฐI just wanted to tell you that there are taxi hailing apps, one of them is called OTO which is basically just like Uber and there is Bolt. I would recommend OTO since it is less expensive. I love your videos and how you are interested in tunisia. I am from tunisia and England

  25. I'm very glad that you liked your trip in Tunisia ๐Ÿ˜ I live abroad and this video has taken me back to my beautiful country ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’– I adore the market of Tunis and Sidi Bousaid since I'm from Tunis but all the regions are just breath-taking from the oasis to the coast. ๐Ÿ˜

  28. thnx โ™ฅโ™ฅ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ you did well talking about Tunisia.
one think you right about TAXI loooool
make me very proud about it.
again wish u good fortune ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  29. I'm Tunisian and I LOVED the video and how you described the places and all.. Btw in most tunisian cities you can wear whatever you want, you don't have to cover yourself or anything and you should've tried street food as well it's low prised and very delicious!

  30. I like what you did Haley ! Great editing (I see that you managed to get some drone shots :p) and the guide could be quite useful for foreigners that want to visit Tunisia (you did put good and accurate tips and warnings). Talking about warnings : you can show a LOT of skin as a female in Tunisia, it just depends on the place you visit but yeah it's always safer to stay "covered".
I also liked the fact that you moved around the country using different means of transportation. It's sad to see that a lot of tourists that come to Tunisia usually don't leave their hotels and spend their holidays sitting by the pool or on the beach benefiting from their all inclusive deals :p
Tldr : Great video Haley ! You officially know more places in Tunisia than me (and I'm Tunisian xD).

  31. ุŒin tunisia u can dress whatever u want to…i'm tunisian girl n i go out wearing tops or shorts or tiny skirts nd it's normale

  32. Tunisia … a name that smells of orange blossom and jasmine flowers. To know the real Tunisia we must visit Tunis ,Hammamet and Susa

  33. i highly recommend that you visit several locations and beaches in "Bizerte"
you're missing a lot of heavenly places there โ™ฅโ™ฅโ™ฅ

  34. Well to clarify Tunisian language is not Arabic at all it's a mix of Berber Amazigh, Arabic, French and other languages

  35. Ohhh just realized that you are related to Wil Dasovich. So it's in the Dasovich DNA the recipe for great vlogs.

  36. ยฅouhou … ! , Yes the style , filming the music tips and the places sincerely! Awesome ! , Well Done Haley ๐Ÿ‘ , I m Tunisian local and recomand you guys about each sincere tips advices places that show Haley

  37. Hi Haley thanks a lot for the vid it was very emotional to me because i am from Tunisia and I live in Canada when I saw the vid was really nice btw there are a lot other places you didnโ€™t visit them

  39. like you said it's a beautiful country but almost of people don't want to show the other side, the real truth, imagine a tree without roots .

we don't own nothing from all this

    everything became fake without flavour

just enjoy your days here because no one will show you the other side .

  40. Haley, nice trip…thx that was entertaining…i would like to ask you ,what about the local music? festival?
wish you Trik esslama (be safe –on roads-)

  41. Great video!!!
Hopefully you enjoyed your stay in tunisia and you're planning coming back soon…there's too much majic that is yet to be discoverd ..
I just have one thing to mention is that the ville you visited to explore " the set of star wars" is called NEFTA and it's worth to be mentioned as it's a whole other state apart from touzer and chebika..
Moreover, it's a ville that deserve to be explored..it had much more majic and stories to tell other then star wars..

But all in all i congratulate you for all the majic that you send us through your vidรฉos ๐Ÿฅฐ

  42. Hello Haley,
Im Tunisian and I love the way you introduced my country.
Everthing you said is actually "true story", especially the useful tips at the end of the video.
Very nice job & keep it up ^^
    Thank you.

  43. Hi again, thank you for reading my comments. I have a couple of things I would like to add about Tunisia. The Greek poet wrote about an island where Ulysses and his men went ashore to get water, they've been given lotus flowers to eat, the lotus were as sweet as honey but doing so they lost their memories and became captives. I believe that the lotus flowers were confused with dates, there are palm trees in djerba and the dates are as sweet as honey.
Further more. Tunisia is situated at the at the very top of the African continent.
Amazingly, before the country was referred to as Tunisia, the Romans called it Africa, from then on, the whole african continent was named Africa.
I hope that I expended your knowledge about Tunisia and please, look beyond my limited English perfection. Have a nice day, god bless and please come back again.
