Trident Microfiber Cleaning Overview


When it comes to mopping floors and
cleaning your facility, you have a choice. If you choose a traditional string mop,
you will spread soil and bacteria, leaving a filthy wet residue behind. That’s because traditional string mops
don’t perform as well as microfiber mops do. The bacteria you are trying to remove
mixes with the cleaning solution and, in no time, you’re spreading around what you
should be removing But if you choose a microfiber mopping
system, you will remove soil and bacteria by capturing it in the split microfiber
that actually attracts and holds on to soil, bacteria, and moisture, leaving your
floors clean and residue free. In a study performed at the University
of California – Davis Medical Center that compared traditional string mops to
microfiber mopping systems, microfiber outperformed traditional mops by
reducing the chemical and water consumption by 95%, thereby providing a
more sustainable solution at a lower total cost, and cleaning floors three
times faster than traditional mops, improving productivity and enabling a
reallocation of labor. And because microfiber weighs less than
traditional mops and eliminates the need for wringing
waterlogged mops and lifting heavy mop buckets, it reduced potential staff
injuries and workers compensation claims. By implementing a microfiber mopping
system into their cleaning program, the medical center could save a lifetime mop
cost of 60%. And finally, microfiber mopping systems reduced
bacteria by a whopping 99% compared to only 30% of
traditional string mops. While microfiber mopping systems provide
a clear advantage over traditional string mops, not all microfiber mops are

During the laundering process, soil and moisture pass through the backing,
speeding drying times and delivering a cleaner mop. Trident microfiber contains
no inner layer fillers like some microfiber mops do. We double stitch our
fiber directly to the mesh backing, eliminating any filler so that soiled
solution and bacteria are not trapped inside and can be removed during the
laundering process. The double stitching provides greater durability and longer
life expectancy over the single row stitching of economy microfibers. Our twist loop pile excels at cleaning
uneven surfaces like grout and tile. It captures larger soil particles, absorbs
more moisture, and retains more soil than cut microfiber, increasing the amount of
square footage one pad can clean and improving productivity. The channels
between the rows of microfiber are designed to move soil up into the mop,
capturing soil and moisture across the entire width and length of the fiber
twist loops, and delivering greater load capacity and higher productivity. Many
microfiber mops use a hook and loop fastening to attach the mop to the frame.
But after repeated washings and debris getting trapped into the backing, the mop
loses adhesion to the mop frame. But the premium design of the Trident Pocket

Ours microfiber pads with mesh backing are ready to use instantly; no waiting like
traditional mops. Using the pretreat bucket with built-in graduation marks
and our cleaning solution mixing table, you can properly measure the amount of
cleaning solution to fully saturate the quantity of mops and cloths you need.
Place the mops face down in the bucket. Pour the pre-measured cleaning solution
over the mop. Collapse the frame and align its edges
with the mop pockets. Press firmly to snap the frame into the mop. Clean the
floors, walls, and other surfaces like tables, desks, cabinets, and more.
Push the button on the mop frame for touch-free release of the mop into the
soiled mop bucket or the Trident cart’s rear laundry bag. This divided and coated
laundry bag can be used for both soiled mops and cloths. The side pockets of the
Trident cart are designed to hold gloves and tools like the hand trowel.
There is also storage for five upright mop handles and hooks for wet floor
signs, making this a complete system on a compact, lightweight cart that is easy to
maneuver in tight spaces. Trident color-coded cleaning reduces
